dcp & kdm self-service
Cinema delivery, without intermediaries
Connect distribution directly to the theatres: keep your DCPs in the cloud and generate their KDMs from the same place, on request, for the exact projectors that will play them.
Problem
Getting a film onto a cinema screen usually runs through a chain of intermediaries: a lab that holds the DCP, a facility that keeps the certificate lists, an email for every key. Each link adds cost and delay, and a stale certificate turns a sold-out show into an emergency minutes before it starts.
Solution
Mnemonica Archive puts key delivery next to the content. Your DCPs live in the Works of your catalogue, their DKDMs are uploaded once, and KDMs are generated on the fly for the projectors you choose, then sent straight to the recipient. No facility to route through, no gatekeeper in the middle.
the liberation of cinema delivery
From your catalogue to the projector
Built for independent distributors, rights holders and festivals: studio-grade key delivery without a gatekeeper’s price.
The master key stays home
Master your DCPs with the Mnemonica distribution certificate and attach each DKDM when you archive the DCP. The DKDM never leaves the platform and never reaches a cinema: it only authorises Mnemonica to derive device-specific KDMs.
A KDM in a few steps
Choose the CPL by language, subtitles and audio, select one or many projectors, and set the validity window with a preset from 24 hours to a month, or with your own dates. The KDM is generated at once and the recipient is notified.
Your own device list
Register each projector once, uploading the certificate the cinema sends you or importing one already on the platform. Your device list shows every certificate’s validity at a glance, so an expired one is caught before it reaches a screening.
Requests with approval
Managers issue KDMs directly. Operators and Power Guests, the sales role, submit requests that a manager approves, sends back for changes or rejects. Sensitive keys always travel through the right channel, and every decision is logged.
Festivals without the scramble
A single programme can gather films from dozens of distributors across as many countries. One hub that receives and archives every DCP and issues every key turns that scramble into a routine: the difference between firefighting and programming.
Next: cinemas as the source of truth
Venues will keep their own certificates current, uploading them the moment a media block is renewed or replaced, and everyone tracking a certificate will be notified of the new version. Trust will be earned through use, not granted from above: a certificate many have relied on will be one you can rely on.
