We are proud to announce the release of Mnemonica TRE, a major evolution of our ecosystem.

This update introduces a completely redesigned User Interface and the official launch of Mnemonica Archive, bridging the gap between active production and long-term asset management and distribution.

Mnemonica Archive: The Active Memory

Mnemonica Archive is a high-performance SaaS solution designed for the management, protection, and delivery of master-quality assets.

It’s our “active archive” module, designed to transform a static library into a functional business asset. Integrated with Mnemonica Production, it treats preservation as a dynamic process that continues production, ensuring your content is always market-ready.  

The solution is built around these core pillars:

• Works: The heart of your digital library. Each Work acts as a centralized hub for a specific title, organizing all its versions, master packages (DCP, IMF, ProRes), and associated marketing materials and documents into a structured yet flexible and easily searchable catalog.
• Deep Metadata & TMDB Sync: Archive can automatically pull synopses, cast, crew, etc. via TMDB integration, making your entire catalog instantly searchable by technical specs, artistic credits, archived content types, and all other metadata associated with Works and their contents. 
• Deliveries: A professional, integrated delivery system for sending high-res assets to stakeholders without changing platform. It includes a dedicated approval flow for sales agents, ensuring that assets are only transferred once the necessary internal green lights are secured.
• Gallery: A dedicated space designed for sales, containing a collection of ready-to-use screeners for each Work. This allows sales teams and executives to instantly showcase the best version of a film without searching around.
• Rooms: Mnemonica Production’s legendary Screening Rooms prove their efficiency in the new context, facilitating immediate, secure viewing experiences. Create any number of Rooms to invite collaborators or partners to a private screening environment where you can control access and gather feedback in real-time.
• Distribution readiness: Purpose-built to handle professional distribution formats. Archive automatically indexes DCP and IMF packages, extracting technical metadata and validating package integrity for global delivery. 
• Integrated KDM management: Simplify your theatrical workflows. Rights holders or theatres can manage and request Key Delivery Messages (KDMs) on the fly, directly within the platform, enabling secure screenings and distribution without the need for external third-party services.

Mnemonica Production: New Features

We continue to refine the tools used by thousands of crews worldwide to ensure the smoothest experience throughout the production cycle.

• Extended HDR Support: Experience true-to-life color on the go. We have implemented native HDR playback for compatible laptops (such as MacBook Pro 2021 models and later), ensuring that your review sessions match the DP’s intent.
• Optimized Upload: Speed is essential during the daily wrap. You can now create Days and Bins directly within the upload window, removing the need to pre-organize your structure in the Dashboard.
• Redesigned Stills Player: We have completely overhauled the static image viewer. The new interface is more ergonomic and responsive, specifically tailored for the high-resolution requirements of unit photography and production design reviews.
• Audience-Based Filtering: Stay focused on the feedback that matters. You can now filter comments by specific users within the Audience panel in the player page, allowing you to isolate notes from the Director, Producer, or anyone else instantly.

Mnemonica Mobile App: TRE Everywhere

The Mnemonica TRE release comes with a radical evolution for our mobile application, aligning it with our new visual language and significantly improving video interaction.

• UI/UX Alignment: The app interface is now fully aligned with the TRE theme, providing a seamless visual transition between desktop and mobile environments.
• Enhanced Player Gestures: Reviewing footage is now more dynamic. By long-pressing the right side of the frame, the player switches to 2x speed, allowing for rapid scanning of rushes. Swipe letf and right to skip to the previous/next clip.
• Streamlined Visual Annotations: We have restructured the tools for drawing and taking notes on frames, making them simpler, more precise, and more reactive for touchscreens.
• Advanced Timecode Toggling: Greater technical control for pros. You can now switch between timecode and frame count, and view any additional timecode tracks available in the file.
• Improved Fullscreen Navigation: We have optimized the gestures for entering and exiting fullscreen mode, making the mobile viewing experience feel more fluid and natural.

Sensitive Hub: The Global Workspace

We have improved UX for one of our most powerful workflow tools, the Hub, accessible from any project.

• Seamless Multitasking: Open the Hub to drag and drop assets between different parts of the application without ever leaving your current page.
• Smart Drag & Drop: By simply dragging an asset over the Hub, you can now define its destination with a single, intuitive gesture. It’s the ultimate shortcut for moving content across your entire library.

Bug Fixes & System Stability

• Group Notifications: Fixed an issue where guests invited via Groups were not receiving admission notifications for new Rooms.
• Content Alerts: Resolved a bug where New Content notifications were not triggered for Guests when content was added to a Room via the copy/paste function.
• Extended Login Sessions: To reduce friction for daily users, the application session duration has been extended from one month to three months.
